You can’t do it!

Tum se na ho payega!
You can’t do it!
I’d like a show of hands on this from all of you who had this thrown at you.
She walked into my life, a lady of 62 years. Frail in body but tough with grit within. She had just walked out on her husband of 42 years, recently. And, his last words to her were, “tum se na ho payega”. Her ears stung and reverberated with those words!
She had taken his insufferable, alcoholic, domestic violent behavior for over several decades. Always with the taunting words thrown at her when she’d threaten to walk out.
A few days ago, she did.
In life, you encounter several situations where your strength is belittled simply because the ones you love are the ones who knowing or unknowingly crush your resolve and deflate your motivation. Don’t spend too much time on those hurtful words for they are words lashed at you due to people’s own fears and insecurities.
You are the master/mistress of your soul. Succumb and you’ll drown in those defeating words forever. Believe in your own abilities and stand up and fight the currents. Stop creating storms and living in the aftermath forever.

If there’s anyone who has the power to honour you, your motivations – it’s that person you see in the mirror.
So, go forth like that 62-year-old who believed she can write her own story because it’s never too late.
The empty canvas is all that you can imagine it to be. Go, paint the life you desire on your life’s canvas.

Wish you an incredibly amazing week ahead!
